Folks should keep in mind that there's essentially no such thing as a 3-letter prefix. If you're requesting C_D, or GV#, or whatever similar, you're really requesting C_ or GV and wasting an extra precious letter space.

Well, I don't really need much more letters, since I only tend to use the first letter (sometimes the second letter too) only.

This is ridiculously frustrating.

I would LOVE to have a 2-character prefix, but they're all taken... by modders who are no longer even active. What prefix would you suggest? Let's try K7. If that doesn't work, I don't know...

This really isn't difficult. There's a list. You look for a two-letter prefix that isn't taken. You post here. It gets registered.

Not only is it still open, according to the main list, but "Mu" is a Greek letter, short for the class "magic-user", are the letters for Miskatonic University (my alma mater...okay, not really but I wish it were), and is the name of the mythical continent whose native people were the forerunners of both Ancient Egypt and Ancient Maya.
