Is there a way to enable it without being a druid? This mod is so taxing there is no way im going to do a second playthrough back to back. Secondly, is it something wrong with my game or SI:D does not protect against True Sight? The WK demi lich seems to dispel my invis despite SI being up. Also, SI:A doesnt seem to protect agains imprisonment

There isn't an easy one. I have not made any tweaks like that yet. There's a way to initiate it with a console command but you'd need at least be in CH2 or CH3 at the moment for everything to work out properly. Also, I am not sure if anything else might go wrong later, I'd need to do a more thorough investigation for that.

Some greater creatures have capacity to see invisible enemies. Perhaps this is what's happening here. SI:Div should protect from True Sight.

It worked on my playthrough (Kangaxx demilich at least, have not tested WK one). Maybe something wrong on kristos game or due to how fast Demilich can cast kristos does not noticed it getting dispelled.

Well after a couple of tries and game resets it worked. Not sure what caused those odd interactions.

Shame there is no easy way to access the expanded strongholds as other classes but since you mentioned the druid quests can be completed in ch3 I think I'd be overleveled for the fights anyways.
As a sidenote: not sure how one would manage to defeat the demilich without enrage ability or SI spell

If you have sibel mod installed, she got new HLA to counter imprisonment (maybe all clerics have it?)

The quest progresses with the main plot. It begins in ch2-3, with an interlude in ch4, and ends in ch6-7. So if you are still in ch2-3 you can theoretically start it, but if you've already done lots of content (including the stuff people usually do post-Underdark) then yeah, it'll be a bit easy.

I got a ranger/cleric so maybe you are referring to that HLA that mimics barbarian rage? Didnt get it yet though.

Slowly finishing chapter 6 I think so it seems I'll be missing out on this one unless it's still somehow possible. That staff would sure do wonders for my Avenger.

Unfortunately, I doubt it. We'd need to set up a lot of conditions for everything to work out. And you would miss out on half of the story anyway.

I have a question for the modders as I'm trying to do some tests on enemies. Once you enter an area for the first time the creatures spawn and if you modify their stats they don't change basically since they are already spawned in the saved game. How do you get around this? These are not proximity spawn trigger points I'm referring but the "actors" that spawn in the area when you enter the first time. Thanks.

Kensai can't wear anything in their armor slot, as it would slow their movements, they're trained to fight that way and it made little sense for a Kensai=>Thief with UAI to wear a full plate and still get all Kensai bonuses, I guess the logic still applies to magical robes that Mages wear. I know that in vanilla BG you could wear robes as a K=>M and I don't know which version of IA prevented that. Anyway, is there any merit to K=>M wearing robes? I think that apart from some very high dual levels (like K(15)=>M) Berserker=>Mage is far superior anyway, isn't that the case?

Yes, their stats and equipment can't be changed when they get loaded into the memory on your first visit to some area, though the content of their scripts can be changed. If you want to test a character in an already visited area, it's probably best to just create a new instance of that creature from the console and kill the original one (via ctrl+Y or something). And for smaller areas you can just keep a save game right before entering the area. I don't think there are any better solutions for this.

There are, basically, two ways to deal with this:
1) reload the game at a point before entering the area in question;
2) unpack the save game (it stores a copy of each ARE file for the areas that were visited) and apply modifications directly to the creatures stored inside that copy of the ARE file. It's a cumbersome process. Could be done both manually (via Near Infinity) or with the weidu scripts.
This also depends on the nature of the changes. If it's the AI scripts or items, those are loaded separately anyway, because the creature file embedded inside the area file stores only a references to them. All other changes need to be applied to the creature file directly inside the ARE copy.

It should be in a container at level 3 of WK in the area where you fight the Demon Wright.

I noticed enemy mages casting Ruby Ray on my characters even after Spell Immunity was removed. They would cast another Ruby Ray but not consecutively(IIRC), like for example moving out of sight and letting the enemy mage cast another spell, then go back into his visual range without Spell Immunity on and he would cast another Ruby Ray. Lavok and Pirate Coordinator come to mind.
My Fighter-Mage was Edwin, I wonder if the the enemy scripts are picking something up on Edwin that make them cast a second Ruby Ray.

Yes, there was something weird with the targeting system. We observed similar issues during our v7 test runs but couldn't pin-point a definitive cause. It happened in very specific scenarios, and I thought the tweaks I'd made had fixed the problem. Apparently, not. This merits further investigation.

It's happening pretty much all the time from what I notice and consecutively too, not just when going out of sight. I noticed the Ruby Rays are scripted based on a global variable and not based on SCRIPTINGSTATE7. Why is that? I'm thinking it was done to reduce the number of blocks in a script, but surely with modern computers it could handle more entries now.

Not everywhere. There's a difference in approaches in various scripts. The older system is based on counters and global variables. Some of the more modern scripts rely on scripting states. I believe the fault lies somewhere within the older system, but debugging weidu code is a notoriously tricky process. I'll give it another go whenever I am ready to dive back into modding.

The upcoming IATweaks patch will make many changes to enemy AI, better targetting for RRR/Breach/Dispel Magic will be a part of it. Maybe at some point those changes will be incorporated into IA in some shape or form, making critto's job easier

Come to think of it I actually don't
But I have another issue. I messed up Nalia at the beginning of the game and told her I will not help. This results in her going into D'arnise keep alone and now the game thinks she's dead. This obviously cuts me off from the XP per person she grants for killing Tor'Gal and from the Stronghold overall.
I tried to console her in and it semed to work semi fine - I get her dialogues, I get XP per person for killing Tor'Gal and I "kinda" am the ruler of the Stronghold however the Majordomo keeps telling me that there is no one to see me, even if I rest for a month straight.
How can I change the variables in a way I still can trigger the Keep quests?

Perhaps you didn't have the introductory dialogue with the majordomo that shifts the plot into gears. Try setting this variable to 1 and see if he starts to behave properly:

I have all of those installed, but for example I wasn't able to get robe of the apprenti for MotA, nor was I able to get Judgement Day sword and the JD fight when I had a Druid protag.

The MotA patch probably requires adjustment for the druid protagonist. As for JD, I was planning to add a separate component, but haven't gotten to it. I'll do both eventually, although can't guarantee any specific timeline due to other obligations. If someone can submit a pull request for these, I'll be happy to review and merge it.

Was looking through some items in near infinity and stumbled upon some stuff I have never seen in game. This relates to "Lady Elowen" who apparently can upgrade some items. Absolutely no idea who this NPC is since I've never met her on my 1st playthrough, therefore my question is: Where can i find her?

She will appear at Cromwell's house if you have Sibel in your party and return from the Underdark if I remember correctly.
You can find all of her recipes in Sibel mod readme. Most of her recipes are a bit cheaper and more powerful than what Cromwell offers, she can also improve some IA items to even more fearsome versions.

Thanks! Went through the item readme and they are indeed really strong. I think I'll skip most of them and/or tone down some other just like I did with Sibel's mace.
As a side question: are there any recorded let's plays/fights of IA on insane difficulty? I sometimes think the mod wasn't build with double dmg in mind cause golems non-critting for 140+dmg seem unreal to me

I haven't seen any recorded continuous LPs of IA, let alone those done on insane difficulty. But insane difficulty had been conquered in the past by some of the veteran players.

I think the key to insane difficulty is not to get hit at all. Tank with skinned characters, go for the low AC meta until you can stack very high DR%, and such.

We have a full playthrough (well, almost full, but the remaining videos are already recorded and will be published) from Dequ. Now we'll also have a full playthrough from kristos234 and to my knowledge that'll be the only 2 playthroughs in western world. However if you look at chinese forums and their youtube counterpart, you'll surely find many more playthroughs. There's even a playthrough of a guy doing IA with Legacy of Bhaal difficulty with some recordings xD I never watched any of those videos as they're hard to find and understand for me, but they exist.
