Hi,
I've started Sibel quest and I'am really confused on what to do. I'am actually blocked and I've tried it all. Could you tell me what to do ?
I have exchanged leather and gold with 3 merchants, boughts the ingredients, feed the cat and there is nothing left to do. I've talked to every NPC, walked every map, fixed the chauldron in the alchemy tower, opened every door with the knock spell.
How to continue the quest ?
Btw, I cannot quit the map.

Hi. There's an indoor area with roots hanging from the ceiling. There's one root that you can interact with, I guess that's what you're missing.

Ok I got it. the interact zone is way too small, if you did not told me there is a thing there to click I would have never found it.

Ye those roots are hard to notice if not know what to look for. My first time doing it took around 1h trying to find next thing to do.
I will have some video tutorial soon how to do whole village In best possible way I found, all coins spent before leaving (might be that I missed something)

Yeah, I suggested that we should add some visual effect to that part of the area during my testing, as I also had problems with that quest, but it seems that it was not implemented.

Visual effects are a bit cumbersome to implement. A simpler solution is to increase the interactive zone, I guess.

I've played a while ago IA, but never had the time to finish it. I've just made the first encounters (Suna, the beastmaster etc.) and it was great.
Back to the game, I've just seen that you pushed an update.
I can't go back to the regular game or even SCS, it's too easy. And once you know all the cheeses, you cannot unlearn them.
So, I rediscovered challenge with IA
Btw : Sibel items are broken. Especially her club. I don't complain

I found that IA has better support than some of software I use at work, haha.
This happened to me as well, now I can't go back to the regular game - or the alternate versions, they are just too easy.
And I comprehensively agree, that Sibel's equipment is broken

Ha ha! Consider Sibel's equipment as my special gift to all the players who always wanted to have their revenge against those badass enemies in all these years.
I confess that when I returned after years and tried the mod again, I found my fighting skills sort of "rusted" and finally felt more empathy with players who were always telling me that the mod was too hard. Hence, we (Critto and I) decided to create Sibel, a powerful NPC with a long personal quest and magnificent personal equipment. We have also added a new artificer to the game whom you will meet later in chapter 6.
If you feel that some equipment or items are too powerful, simply do not use them. You can set personal rules or limitations for yourself in this regard.

This is a good point.
Though with nerfed weapons and abilities, compared to version 6.5. the basic game (no Sibel that is) is even harder still than it previously was. As something like Judgement Day is now omitted, defender of easthaven is nerfed and so on.
Then again, Sibel also introduces some really tough fights.

Sure

No, but the quest is omitted if you are not playing I guess a fighter PC? (I'm sure Critto/Jacek/Sikret will confirm or so).
And it's quite heavily nerfed conpared to the 6.x versions, even if you get it.

Defendor of Easthave is nerfed (Barbie + Dwarven Defender are excluded), Water's Edge +4 is nerfed, Hexxat's cloak is nerfed, there's no Ring of Gaxx +5 anymore and Druid's uber helmet is gone, though there's an uber ioun stone though. Golem Slayer is mage only, as is improved version.

I have another problem on Sibel quest. It is when I retrieve her gift. There is an encounter with some mercenaries and an amber golem. The mercenaries are unkillable. They are all at "Near Death" state but refuse to die, whatever the amount of damage I deliver them. Am I missing something or is this a bug ? If I am missing something, I've seen no clue.

Where is that encounter? I might have missed it. Only found ambush after spellhold, amber golem invasion In goverment, Copper coronet and CC sewers 2 separate encounters

SPOILER!In the village, there's a leather artisan named Howard. You can donate some coins for him to prepare you a gift and put somewhere in the game world based on your suggestion. Once you find the gift, you'll get an ambush encounter

SPOILER!Mine is in Suldanessalar. I've not encountered Sibel related encounter in Governement District, Copper coronet and in the sewers.
I still don't get it. Their name are pretty mundane : Mage, Elf, Berserker, Rune Assassin and Amber Golem. The Amber Golem goes down, but the other ones are unkillable.

Did 1st quest, and I am doing the second. I've bought A, B and C ingredient, but it seems one of them was not used. Did I lost a coin or I can use that ingredient later? Also I haven't found any food for cat. Any clue about this?

SPOILER!One coin is lost then, hints for correct ingredients needed can be found at certain point, I think there is no secondary use for one of ingerients. Cat is far fight and bit up.

Cat is in Northeast.
Fruit is doable, just find another animal from map that can help you to get it.

IaSibelTalks = 3

Yes. I guess this a bit of a design flaw on our part. I'll re-check to see if we made contingencies for this. But you need to progress through Spellhold:
SPOILER!At 2.210k+ in Spellhold you'll have a talk with Sibel where you choose your stance on her upcoming conflict. It's an important dialogue. After that, you'll get a first ambush in Brynnlaw / Underdark. Now, when you get back from Underdark and re-visit the illithid hideout, the event should spawn
Also, can you give me IaTreePlot and IaAmbervillePlot variables? IaSibelTalks is too low, I think another banter should have triggered by now for you.

ye, well maybe on next playthrough I can get first and second ambush. I think I got all the other content so far.

Just noticed iin my 2nd playthrough that I didn't get the amber ambush in brynnlaw (while having done everything as in my previous run regarding Sibel's quest).
Just got out of Underdark and no dialogue is procin so far, as I remember one popping (about some sewers) in my previous run.
Anything I can do/check out to fix it ?

I don't mind to "C:MoveToArea" my way back to some areas if need be if it's safe to proc some events.
Oh, and I DID find Howard's Gift pre-Spellhold (
SPOILER!managed to pull Illithid's lair in the sewers, was of decent level as I play without Improved Spellhold
) but I didn't get the associated battle.
Edit 2 : Looks like going into WK made the quest go "roughly" as intended. Had the
SPOILER!ghost dialogue (copper coronet sewers thing) there, and going back to the city I had the Virtus event AND artificer seems to be there
I had the dialogue where Sibel asks for whom she should trust/follow, which I thought I had had back in spellhold, but nevermind.

So did the dialogue where she says "I am in need of your advice, <CHARNAME>!" happen or not? Not sure from your explanation. Looks like some bugs regarding Sibel triggering her banters are lurking inside, and some time they don't fire properly.

I think it happened twice. Once in brynnlaw, once in WK lvl 1 in chap5.
The dialogue popping in WK1 was followed right after by the ghost of Regi**** dialogue. The next step of this dialogue only happened wayyyyy later (right after the final confrontation of sibel quest for SoA), which finally triggered Regi**** to appear where he should be.
I did not get the brynnlaw ambush, nor did I get the ambush after finding Howard's gift.
otherwise, quest went as intended, just in a weird order
