Betrayal! We are attacked by <CHARNAME>! Come on, friends, we are leaving.
Again, it's only an approximation.

Is it Drizzt, again, if attacked in Bodhi's tomb?
jastey
Oct 24 2004, 03:08 AM
That's right, or the paladin of the Order, or the thief (don't recall the names) if they help fighting Bodhi and you hit them (accidentally, of course)
Your turn!

I'm missing a new quote...
...Was it anything I said?
Baronius
Nov 23 2004, 06:19 PM
Thorium Dragon has probably not checked the forums for several weeks, I'm sure he will tell a quote when he visits it next time
Here's some text for now:
"This place shall be your tomb"
Takara
Nov 23 2004, 08:51 PM
ooooh, oooh, I remember this one! Shame I cant actually think of who exactly though. I can hear the voice in my head. I'm positive it's a lich... and I think it was the one in Ust Natha... the one allied with house Jae'llat. (or however it's spelt)
Apeman
Nov 24 2004, 01:26 PM
I'm thinking kangaxx
Baronius
Nov 24 2004, 05:02 PM
You are BOTH right. That quote belongs to many -- if not to ALL - liches in the game! An answer like 'lich' would have been enough
Takara was the first so I think it's his turn (if someone has a better idea to decide this please tell!
)
Takara
Nov 24 2004, 05:34 PM
Well... we could wrestle a griffon, and whoever doesnt get eaten can post.
However if we go on chronological order here's mine: "I'm just a slaaaaave. Slaaaave working."
Perhaps too easy, but it's hard to come up with one with music playing.
Ragnar

wow, these quote threads seem to get lost don't they?
*counts the days this thread has been ignored*
*subtracts days since Ragnar was in IRC*
15 days of inactivity in here. Perhaps we should make a rule for the quote threads. Umm.... I'll take a whack at making up a quote unless someone has a problem with that.
With luck this one will be somewhat difficult:
"There was too much chaos. I couldn't tell who was who."

These Quote Game threads have been ignored for months... time to wake them up!
Ragnar's quote is tricky, as it is from the... tutorial! Belt says it in the SoA tutorial.
Here is mine:
"As Uncle Scratchy used to say, 'A true friend is a bald-faced liar'."

I don't remember this quote from BG2, and it seems that no one has tried to guess it for more than three months.
What I faintly recall is Viconia asking Minsc about his blue tattoos ('did a class assault you with pastels' or something like this). Did you mean this one?

no for all of sk's, nothing to do with firkraag. think famous drow...
balduran
Dec 11 2005, 02:44 PM
Just to make this clear - is this a quote from a mod, because the only famous drow in the game, Drizzt, at least to my humble knowledge doesn't say anything like it.
