Echon
There is not a lighthouse in that area but there is an ogre-magi who has a specific name.

-Echon
Sir-Kill
droth

Soon to go back to the grotto I am, I miss the tunnels at home.
Ragnar
Hhhmmmm........ -_-

Is it a dwarf?
Sir-Kill
nope, er maybe, it is a short female
Ragnar
Ah!
It's a gnome!
Sir-Kill
sorry your reply must of sliped through, there is one that says that it if not more, but you are close enough, so go ahead.
Ragnar
ok then,

*COUGH* *HACK* *RETCH* My lung! It's flopping all over the dirt! ......Damn.
Awake
Oh, I know this one. A miner in the Nashkel Mines.
Ragnar
Aye, go for it.
Awake
Well, good to see you again...

"Hurry child, the night can only get worse"

Probably too easy
dragon_lord
Gorion. One of the few things I remember from bg1.
Awake
Correct. One of the saddest scenes of BG1 ):
dragon_lord
"Took your sweet time, didn't you? Gorion's a fool for trying to bring you up right and you can tell him I said so, too."

laugh.gif laugh.gif Which happens to me a lot. Of course immy standing by with her bow is a great help. I wonder why they put that wolf there... Anyways...

I guess I'll take a whack at this.

Hull? When he gives you the long sword he asked for. To be precise, "Hull's Long Sword"

I've got a quote for you too:

QUOTE

[22:59]<????> Interests: none. Talk about a boring person....
[23:02] <????> I'll be back later, cya

Who said that one? hm?

Just to let you know, I'll be in there for a few more hours, feel free to drop by... /me points to the quote
dragon_lord
Yep its Hull.

Hey I was tired so I went had a rest.... "Interests: none. Talk about a boring person...." I still stand by that remark tongue.gif .
Awake
Alright, how about this one(it's a partial quote)

"I mean 'Mooooooo'"

Yeah, try and guess that....
Ragnar
ugh............ that's hard but how about............

a cow?
Awake
laugh.gif Gee, I didn't think anyone would get that... Your turn.
Ragnar
laugh.gif wasn't expecting that!
Well this is part of the quote,
"No other could have lived to oppose me in person. Of course it will not matter in the end."
Baronius
It's from Sarevok's dialogue.

Here's an easy one:
"Greetings playthings, thou hast found me when I alone could not."
Thorium Dragon

Captain Bragh
Baronius
Indeed, he's Brage tongue.gif

Your turn.
Thorium Dragon
Two for the price of one...

"None cross Greywolf and live!" wink.gif

and

"Ellesime!"
Baronius
The first one is Berrun Ghastkill... wait, no! It's Greywolf, I remember now! grinteeth.gif

Second one is Prism. Two for the price of one, indeed. smile.gif

That was a hard one! tongue.gif
Daeva
Well, the game seems to have ended but I'm just a tad shocked that no one came up with either of these 2 quotes (though both are pretty easy to guess):

"Elminster this, Elminster that - give me two thousand years and a pointy hat and I'll kick his arse!"

and

"Oh, I warrant you attention, frabdurous day, calloo-callay!"
Baronius
It seems it would have been my turn (because no one had answered Thorium Dragon's riddle for lots of days so I finally did), and wanted to wait Thorium Dragon to return and confirm my answers -- but he still seems to be away.
Thanks for reviving this thread! Good idea. smile.gif I know BG too well anyway, so I am not going to tell the source of your quotes -- hopefully someone else will do it soon!
jastey
There is no pretty easy quote if your game version is not English. sad.gif

(Except "Corn? When did I eat corn?" biggrin.gif ph34r.gif )
Baronius
grinteeth.gif Those sailors in Baldur's Gate taverns are horribly drunk indeed...

Okay some help for Daeva's quotes: the second quote is from a male NPC. You can pick up these NPCs together, at the same time. The first quote is from a powerful wizard.

That's Edwin!

And in theory the first one could be Minsc, but I don't remember...
Sapience
"Oh, I warrant you attention, frabdurous day, calloo-callay!"
That is Montaron.

I'll add one.

"Halt! Be you friend or foe?"
