Baronius

Farmer = miner. Yeah.
Hint: the solution starts with 'L' (but not in uppercase) and four letters long.
Rabain

local? but that would be 5 letters!

Lahl
(First of these guys I met I thought it's his name - What does it stand for?)
Rabain
Oct 7 2004, 08:08 PM
I don't think it means anything. I'd say it was a joke in the office or something that the designers just put in. They might have had a few people called Lahl or something.
They did this a lot with BG1 - remember Winski Perorate (the mage that teleports Sarevok in the Ducal palace) - John Winski was one of the Designers.
There are little things like this all over BG1.
Lal means beloved in hindi buts that as close as i can find apart from it being a very frequent surname in some parts of the world!
Baronius
Oct 7 2004, 09:49 PM
I thought that I had read somewhere, maybe in a dictionary, that lahl is a sort of farmer/peasant, an old term or something... but then I must be wrong!
Jastey, your turn.

Baronius

Yupp, It's the kid in Bassilus' area
"I ain't got no home to go to there, not since Mom an' Johnny disappeared. I been looking for them but all I can ever find is these spooks. One of them's wearing Johnny's knickers, though, but I don't want to think of where it got 'em... Be careful you don't scare Bassilus, okay?"
