Figured I'll try asking here. I edited an existing BAM, a simple color change really but done via Post-Processing by adjusting the RGB sliders, unfortunately it's not showing up in game when used.
It's an animated BAM that is supposed to play over the target who casts the spell, the original works fine.

Not sure if Jacek reads this subforum, try messaging him in PM. He did a lot of work on graphics for IA, he might have suggestions.

I'll need more info. First of all - are you sure that you have your changed BAM in override directory? By default the file created by post-processing => save is created in your base installation directory, not in override.

If that's done, then let me know how exactly are you using this bam. Is it in a projectile, is it an animation opcode, or maybe something else? preferably show that with screenshots for better understanding, thanks smile.gif

Under Spell Effect, Create Visual Effect. I managed to figure it out though, I put the BAM in a VVC first and now it works. I'll ask you something else if you are familiar with BAMS. I was looking for a way to reposition an existing BAM so that it plays over the characters head while the spell is active. Found some BAMs but they are at the base or in the middle of the character or simply not high enough. There is also the Health Bar above characters, so it should ideally be slightly higher than the Health Bar so that the animation is visible.

When you open the "Edit BAM" window in NI, you will see that it's divided into sections Frames/Cycles/Preview/Post-processing. In Frames section on the right you have 4 values, Width, Height, Center X and Center Y. Those last 2 values determine where the frame is positioned. So you can just play with those values and watch it on preview till you get a satisfactory result. It all works fine, I have a few new animations that appear above the character targetted. If you use your BAMs inside VVC files then you have even more powerful tools for changing the animations and can modify Z offset position to move the animation up and down https://gibberlings3.github.io/iesdp/file_f...mats/vvc_v1.htm

Ok thanks, I was looking in the BAM editor for the height adjustment.
