I reached TOB, in TS, but before I release the report, I have a question

It is normal in this version, that at the very early beginning Yoshimo disappeared, and Kachiko stayed?(He was at the thanking ceremony at Suldanesselar) I hope it isn't some incompatibility bug, because in that case I wouldn't receive Yoshi's equipped items. If it is normal, when, and where can I get YOshi back? He isn't at the previous normal TS-TOB appearing point (Saradush tavern)

My weidu.log:

Have YOu any Idea, which mod (or component) COuld be the problem? I didn't want to begin the whole SOA.
Senka
As I remember Vlad strongly recommended do not install BG2_TWEAKS and DUNGEONBEGONE. I don't know about other mods - I haven't any. Only BDWeiDU and TS7.04. Any mod that deals with dialogue would causes this problem I believe
trufa
Then it will be BG2 Tweak, because DBG was always good, and reached normally TOB with DBG
But which component of Tweak? Because I didn't install anything, which could be installed with ease of use, or do with some minor CLuaing
SPOILER!

may be this
~BG2_TWEAKS/SETUP-BG2_TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #130 // Force All Dialogue to Pause Game: v7
or this?
~BG2_TWEAKS/SETUP-BG2_TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #3073 // Change Effect of Reputation on Store Prices -> Reputation Has No Effect, Stores Price Fixed at 60% (Luiz): v7
and I don't understand why you need these:
~BG2_TWEAKS/SETUP-BG2_TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #1080 // Add Bags of Holding: v7 - TS has it
~BG2_TWEAKS/SETUP-BG2_TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #3150 // Turn Off The Hideous Cloak-of-Mirroring, Spell-Trap, and Physical Mirror Animations: v7 - TS has it
BDWeiDU have its:
~BG2_TWEAKS/SETUP-BG2_TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #1160 // Multiple Strongholds (Baldurdash) -> No Restrictions (Baldurdash): v7
~BG2_TWEAKS/SETUP-BG2_TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #1170 // Bonus Merchants (Baldurdash): v7

~BG2_TWEAKS/SETUP-BG2_TWEAKS.TP2~ #0 #2210 // True Grandmastery (Baldurdash): v7
I am not a specialist and you would wait for Vlad...
trufa
On my many tries, I found an etry at the start of TOB
"Yoshimo died, TOB cannot import Yoshimo to TOB."

I tried everything, even reinstall BG2, even reinstall windows(the save copied to USB-drv), but it was unreparably ruined (cannot fix this entry), so, in this time, only a few words of the experiences:
Party was the old Yoshi (bohu),Kachiko,SIme,Jaheira,Imoen, at now COnjurer (hum, mal,NG)prot

Kachiko:
With her "character" everything was all right, only a new recognition: The ultimate weapon pair to her is Dakkon +5 dualwielded with Belm. The one dakkon blade gives the necessary AC, and spellbonus, and Belm the 5 standard attack/round. Necessary things to this: 5*Katana, 1*(least) scimitar, 2*(least) dualwield, and Restored dakkon blades (Bdash weidu), and true Grandmastery (EoU, or G3Tweks) mods

YoshimoHis new Katana isn't +3 weapon. I can't hit with it FIre Elementals, which requires +2 weapons, and they aren't have 100% slash res., because Blade of Night was fine.

SImeHer joining XP was more or less fine (+100kXP). The following banters didn't triggered automatically: 1, 31SPOILER!
(the one, which speaks of the earlier (BG1)"girlfriends", which is very cool by the way, that it has a reminder to the BG1 NPC romnces)(I readed in the d file)
, 37SPOILER!
(the first CH6)
, so I must speed up the initially banter via CluaingSPOILER!
( SetGlobalVP_SImeROmance,1
), and skipped 31,37SPOILER!
via sk, affects, readed here in a SIme TOpic
. The following encounters triggered "almost" perfectly SPOILER!
vampires, the flowery dream, Aran, Dragon (It is possible to keep the Dragon' s gold, and his club/mace? (I haven't TIme to id that item)
, and received the item, in the middle of ROmnce SPOILER!
Suna BLoom
. The only very minor problem was, that Srgnt NAtula appeared in one of the Encounter Areas SPOILER!
Flosery dream
, so it Requires the some micromanagement, which has the another NPC quest appearings (for example Dermin in the island on a very earlier version (6.??).
The first HLA-s was again too early, the first at 2.25 M XP, the second at 2.7 M XP, the others was fine.

Other additional things
Aran's RIng (RIng of NIri Alud) could be possible to wear only to Sime, and it's lockpicking boost ability replaced with some AC, Save, or some resistance bonus, to phrase it's protective ability
The Elemental quest Areas monsters needed some revising to work out some better strategies, not only SPOILER!
buy max 5 prot from petrif scroll, memorize max 2 slow poison, and one skin/"skinnable" players after the talk to Najoki, and go hack&slash

In the second Area, at the sksleton part, could be thrown a Nakanishi Lich with some random high lvl (7-9)scroll.
Again in te second Area, it wasn't possibly a good idea to remove kiss the Gloomfrost, and keep Scarab of Goodwill, because the Kiss is more often used (every warrior, and thief, who can't take elemental resistnce, uses in a backup weapon), as Scarab (only archers uses with 14-16 Dexterity (archer Minsc ohmy.gif ), because they need the gloves slot to the Bracers of Archery)
In the third Area, Masaki needs serious elemental, and magic damage resistances (give him the gloomfrost to use as a backup wepon???)so he (and the other guards in the room) couldn't killed by only one mageSPOILER!
(only buff a death ward and a prot mg weap., uses a ring of free action)Spelltriggered 3 Sunfire in the first round, and 2 another non triggered Sunfires in the following 2 rounds

In the Arena it could be prevent somehow to setting traps, and/or remove buffs when entering to the Arena, because SPOILER!
again it was too easy, or cheesy???)to do the first duel with a superpotioned YOshi, and set 7 traps, which instantly killed Michio (the monk)

Or, maybe create an "improved tactical" component which contains this ideas

Hi trufa,

Obviously, some of the components of the mods you have instralled over TS replace (or restore original) BGMAIN.exe. I have patched BGMAIN.exe in TS v7.04 using automatic WeiDU patching to make Yoshimo continuous without much headache, like I did it in v5.x by hand. I have checked this, and Senka confirmed that said patching works. Now, to understand which mod conflicts with TS, just ask creators of these mods about messing with BGMAIN.exe.

As a side note, could you please provide me with the whole post without masking parts of it in spoilers, which I cannot open. Thank you.
Ardanis
No mod on the list appears to tinker with the executable. Different version perhaps?

To find the culprit quickly, if there is any, try searching for bgmain.exe in the main game folder or use --change-log bgmain.exe.

WeiDU 211 can't changelog bgmain.exe (it can only changelog stuff in the override). I can send trufa a fixed version if he wishes it. Are you using Vista or Win7 by chance?
Hoppy
@ trufa

In a SoA game with Yoshimo in party, CLUA console to AR4000. The game will crash if the BGmain has not been updated or reverted back. This is not a 100% sure test as there could be a script added by other mods that introduce a stringref if Yoshimo is in party and then making him destroy self assuming it was original SoA. It sounds like he is definitely doing a DestroySelf() like in SoA without any TS material.

The only way you will know what is screwing your game is uninstall everything back to TS and load your save and try the transition from Ellesime and see if it works. Then install one mod and test. Install the next mod and test. You don't have to install and test every component but when you find the mod that screws things up, then try its components.

Oversight may overwrite AR4000 but I don't think it would add anything to mess up the ToB transition. Also Tactics overwrites a lot and Ascension does too (but you already uninstalled that). Other than those tests I have mentioned, I don't know where else to go about debugging your game. Start with the simple installation and gradually add and test things.

Good luck!
