Hi! Love the map project. You are a true fictional cartographer at heart.

I was wondering if you could provide at least an outline sketch, if not a fully animated historiography in 3D or 4D, of the movement of the global land mass over centuries and mellennia (before and after the time period in which the mods are to take place)?
Something like this:

If possible, thanks in advance! This would help with conceptualizing the setting and time-frame in world events for future mod development and pre-writing. For example, it would be easier to understand and explain why Drow arose on the south-eastern sub-continent, or to dream of what type of creatures may inhabit the Southern barrier islands.

It begs a question about the desert area... Should there be one, or shouldn't there? If it is a continent, it would have to be a small one, and located on a northern hemisphere, in order for the south to be warmer. And if it indeed is a young world, would there be a chance for a desert to form? Hmmm...

Oh, what size is the world? Nobody would like to see a game in which you travel a year from one side of the continent to another :-) and you get one random encounter wink.gif

Actually there is a fairly large desert area (roughly 1/6th of the supercontinent), which is located in the south central region.

This region became desert due to over-farming actually.. during the time proceeding the long dark the southern desert empire was an agricultural nature.. they ground they farmed became infertile in the unending sunlight, and was eventually became the desert it is today.

The desert empire is one of the evil empires in the game. (LE)
