I've already read the other topic and what you're trying to acheive is admirable
 But you don't mention nothing about the current problem there. The first thing that comes to my mind when I see the scrshot is that the dialogue entry for the GUI are messed with and are probably erased. Provided that you remember which button does what, can you try and start a new game, or load an excisting one.
