Improved Anvil 7.0 Unrestricted
The goal of this mod is to make the whole game content (loots, crafting, quests) as accessible as possible. To be able to experience everything in a single playthrough.

Summary of changes:
-All Loot Drop restrictions removed.
-All Quests restrictions removed.
-All Crafting Recipes restrictions removed.
-Experience based encounters hardest versions selected in terms of enemy spawns and ai.
-Recast Vital Energy spell dialog unlocked for all and behavior of spell same as being necromancer.
-Robe or Apprenti fixed 100% success rate.
-Wish Spell options unlocked for all classes.
-Protagonist get all version of Helms blessing.
-Huge amount of antiabuse features "destroy item if not met criterias and such" disabled.
-Experience cap removed
-Judgement Day Sword version back to 6.5 (strongest form)
-Sibel NPC mod added and Sibel personal items "only Sibel can use them" scripts removed.

About the Run:
-Test out Unrestricted mod and fix any issues I find.
-Try a new challenge as solo.
-Will post some videos if have nice fights.
-Won't expect much success or not to get too far, but will see.
-Tweaked many restrictions to be gone such as multiple magical item, profiencies unlocked for multiclass etc.
-Will readjust profiences freely as run goes depend on need.
-Permanent HLAs on character: Use Any Item and Improved Alacrity.
-Some fights allow secondary character to be alive in party if need for plot/npc quest triggers.

Nice work! The option to remove Loot/Quest/Crafting restrictions is something I think this mod has needed.

via the help of CLUA the drops for the JD sword seem to work (Torgal, Ancient Dragon, Supreme Leader, Demon Prince etc) and managed to forge JD successfully with a Mage protag. so looks like that is working fine.
Also started off the new Druid quests as well with a non-druid protag.

Recast Vital Energy is broken on a Sorcerer, I cast it and nothing happens. I would assume the same happens for Mage.

How does the permanent UAI/IA get implemented exactly?

Mod does not add permanent UAI or Improved Alacrity, I manually add them on my save game on new char for this run.

Great to hear that druid quest started, but I bet there are still issues on whole quest due to never have played the quest and might have missed something. Same for vagrant quest, no solution added to summon quest required thing, but can be solved locally for now.

RVE need to check what can it be, maybe summoned being get insta destroyed if not necromancer.

This Mod goes hard againts IA og design but this is what I personally wanted. It also suprised how many restriction and xp variant adjusted encounters were In game.

RVE fixed. There was antiabuse mechanic in place that destroyed if criteries were not met.

Run is very hard, those experience capped normal spawns of trolls and spiders are certainly in good for regular unmodded run. Right now not ways to beat multiple noble troll spawn in early levels. So far only managed to do some early game stuff and encounters Suna Seni and Anarg.

Have been doing it myself, early on is definitely hard but starting to hit some big power spikes.

Is the screaming statue fight working or is it just mine? The "?" cursor to start the fight is missing not sure if it's bugged or just my game.

Just beat the Shade Lord, but there was no option to talk to the dying Merella to get the last of the Buried Ambition clues.
Any ideas for this one? Thanks

No idea yet, perhaps some global variables not get set correctly at some point of quest. Can you send me savegame, so I can check those variables to track down issue?

Okey, I think I fixed it I hope (at least got it working on my local save). It was caused by override function stuff that insert restrictions that only druids get additional dialogs.

Started new try and making a small journal this time. I will record fights only.

Ancient Archmage
Fighter / Mage / Cleric
Permanent Use Any Item and Improved Alacrity.
Stat rolls on creation 95.


Irenicus Dungeon
No major issues, went much better than on my previous run. Accumalated experience of playing such class helped.
Next will explore Waukeen's Promenade and do Circus.

Managed to complete this run solo SoA and WK+Demogorgon.

Have to admit it's one of the more fun runs I've done of IA, UAI + Improved alacrity is pretty fun.

I went with Fighter/Mage, I think you might have an easier time if you go with that as well, I don't think Cleric brings enough to the table to warrant leeching 1/3 of the XP. Just delays the big powerspike Mage lvl 12 for Improved Haste and stunts Mage levels where Remove Magic starts to be a game changer.

Thats impressive, would like to see how you beat some hard fight.
Noticed so far that tactics are way differents for solo play compared to group play.

Video: BeastMaster

Journey continues. Did Circus, Looted Waukeen containers, picked up Sibel, killed Sibel, I added Sibel mod unrestricted version to game. Did not pick reputation increase from circus quest yet.
Next Slums, did same looting all the minor containers, started Gaylan Bayle, CC sewers easy content, could not fight those mist horror army yet.

Right now I wanted to have some fresh challenge, so I went to try to beat Beastmaster on this low level before getting easy early experience from elsewhere.
First thing was to beat those backroom CC Guards (2 mages + fighters). Vs mages Protection from Fire to counter fireshield, then bashed through stoneskins with help of summons. Drink potions of invisibility to disrupt mages direct spells each time they targeted me.
Rest and prepared for Beastmaster. I never fight it this early. So I used new tricks to clear the animals in side rooms first, using invisibility potions to cross the hallway from rooms to rooms to prevent getting dialog from beastmaster.
Then prepare summons, buffed all and rushed out to fight the man itself. To counter nasty spells from Beastmaster I casted silence which did perfect job. I had no ways to breach or dispel him, so only option was to bash through iron skins and it worked.
Then the Tabitha next, issue here is that it got quite a lot HP regen, so my character itself is not enough dps to outdamage that healing. So I needed enough summons to survive the Beastmaster and then create a burst of damage to deal with this animal.
I tried quite many times, but got lucky and Tabitha got agro locked on my summon which it did not reached. Focus fire and then multiple magic missiles finally did the job. Finding the right tactic to even beat this encounter took multiple hours, at one point I thought it was impossible, but hard work and little bit luck finds the ways. After freeing Hendak I just hit 15k gold and went to pay Gaylan. So far I have not sold any item, everything is from collecting gold from boxes. Next episode will do business in Docks.

Suna Seni Encounter

Arriving to Docks and then I do all the minor container looting, Fight vs Thugs and Mad Cleric and one vampire encounter vs shadow thieves that drop me a spell Spell Thrust. Just what I needed for upcoming Suna Seni fight.
Also I swapped profiency points to Clubs instead of Short Swords, because I just got +3 Club from Beastmaster and looted Sibel's personal Club. Started the quest with Aran Linvail, got Amulet of Power and Ring of Protection +2, Finished Mook quest and started shadow thieves guild quest to get Necklace of Talos. So far I must say that all those items I got, gives me quite a huge power boost this early on.

Next then actual harder fight Suna Seni:
Fight start as a ambush meaning I get dispelled and enemies have buffs and they are right on me.
There is 3 things to take care immeditialy.
1. Do not die right away, I cast stoneskin and mirror image with improved casting speed.
2. Need to counter enemy cleric first spell Greater Command, for this I used 4 charm spell on him to counter the spell and make some use of him. If lucky with charm timing then Greater Command is casted on the enemies instead of me.
3. Mage will cast Chaos, so I need to way to protect versus it or disrupt her casting. I choose to disrupt. To get rid of protections I cast Spell Thrust on her, then after it takes effect I use command spell to make her unconcious for 1 round. This is enough time to get near him to cast Hold Person spells on mage and surrounding fighters.
After initial issues dealth, fight was pretty simple, summons, keep up the protection and finish the enemies. Used cleric to run away bit from Suna Seni due to she cannot be held.

I see that the pleythrough is very unique smile.gif though that permanent Improved Alacrity is really powerful during low level fights. I think you could also cast Invisibility, it would either break enemy spell casting, or force them to cast True Sight, no?

yes, casting invisibility also works for this purpose.
