My requests are: [For BG2; with or without ToB]
1) Isn't it time to feed the familiars. An apple, an apple pie - even a dead gopher or two for our hungry, idolizing little-ones? Purchase, drop the food on the little critter and voila!; it does a little dance, croons its gratitude and perhaps even increases its health, magic resistance or spells available.
2) So you wanna be in charge of a Keep, some hills or a grove. How about the hungry neighbors. The dukes, barons, greedy landholders and beastie leaders that decide your little piece of territory should be theirs. Who occaisionally send their troops/minions to conquer the upstarts. Not to mention the inevitible roaming bands of bandits, brigands or rebels that seek to pick some fruit from your tree. Afterall, if you want to Keep it, you have to Hold it.
3) Isn't it unfortunate that some AD&D spells didn't make the cut. Forget - when you ALMOST picked that pocket, or hit the poor fellow by mistake; and you need him to turn blue again. Light - Shadows wither beneath it, blinds when cast on the eyes or can allow you to see just a bit further. Tenser's Floating Disc - when you just ain't strong enough to bring back that body or some weighty loot. Produce Flame or Produce Fire - when a club ain't enough.
4) Where's the throwable flasks of oil and holy water [not only the three you get from the elves - but purchasable and throwable]. That should tone down the constant lament of "my weapon has no effect".
note: #3 & #4 would be great for BG1
5) Flammable Webs. A flame sword becomes dangerous if your trapped within and your enemies get toasted when you light it.
And, an "it doesn't have to be over yet" option at the end of BG2.
