Project Page Home
A new world map and start area (fort unity) are complity different than the homepage makes it out to be.

The goal of the World Transition Project (or wtp for short) is create a whole new world for players to adventure in. But more importantly is to have modders add in new material in to a new world. That means no more child of Baal, and a world that the modding community can build together.

The world is called Mythera, and the prehistory has already been written. The prehistory is nearly two thousand years ago, and will have little affect on the current game world. The world is currently separated into regions of influence; these areas are of general population dominance. So there will no longer be hard drawn out borders. So an individual modder can do many differing things w/o too many restrictions. As long as it makes game logic. And if the core modders like the mod/add-in we might just add it to the core install smile.gif

Anyone wishing to make a mod for WTP should post their idea or send dragon_lord or Sir-Kill a PM. This can be as little as writing some dialog for a NJ-NPC or as large as making an entire realm. If you are interested we will grant you access to the contributors workroom. Of course if you want to take a more active role in wtp such as world development you can have access to the other workrooms.

We would like this is to be a community project. The goal is to get the modding community to work together to make something greater than any of us could do alone.

We are working on very hard at getting an alpha release out so you can see what it is we are trying to accomplish.

this mod will start at level 1 so keep that in mind smile.gif
