Try setting OgronAttack to 1 and RangerProtector to 2, and then go to Umar Hills and talk to Lloyd again. See if the quest proceeds normally. Make an extra backup save before setting the variables as there might be other stuff involved, and you might save somewhere along the way inadvertently.

I changed both variables, but Lloyd still kicks me out.
I have an old save, just after I got ranger SH. So I reloaded that, did 1st quest again, triggered Delon. Checked the 2 mentioned variables, and they were 1 and 2 as you wrote. There is an OGRONASSAULT also, I checked it, and write its number into my normal save. But that didn't help also...

After I changed OGRONASSAULT also:
"Despite all have you done for us, Shadan, you are not worthy of ranger status."
"You are not welcome here any longer, and the cabin is no longer yours to occupy. I think it would be best if you just left."

Before I changed OGRONASSAULT but AFTER I changed the other 2, there is another line between the above 2 lines:
"We had to call the Knights of the Most Noble Order..."

Well things like that are demotivating, but that is part of og game not the mod. I have fucked up that too few times in past and that is why I warned you about it on post before. Lets hope critto can help you. There might be additional variables or some timer.

Yes, you warned be, I just simply forgot this and Delon's appearing because I didn't have tiem to play for 1-2 days...
I missed 1 quest in bard stronghold also, but I don't care with that. Bard SH is not lost, that is just a tiny money at end and a tiny bit of XP. But ranger SH is quite different.
Next time I will do SHs one by one, just sleeping there or like. Sadly I don§t have good save to correct ranger SH thing. I would have to replay a lot and lot of things, which I don't want.

OK, let's try one more time. Looks like you fail upon arrival to Umar Hills because a timer has expired. Set those two variables again and also run the following command in the console to reset the timer:
CODE
C:Eval('SetGlobalTimer("OgronAssault","GLOBAL",THREE_DAYS)')

Then go to Umar Hills and see if it works now.

Sadly it is not enough...
My save is in Umar Hills at ranger cabin.
I set those 2 variables.
Run tho console command. (Copied, so no mistyping and I haven't got error message.)
Lloyd says the same.

I tried to move to Temple ruins, run command there and moved back. Same problem at Lloyd.

I am thinking to stop game, or after a few days break replay a lot of things. Including:
Pirates in the Dock
Limited Wish
Trademeet Crypt
Screaming Statue
whole Bodhi's lair
Squirreled away
Buried Ambitions
Windspear Hills and Firkraag'sLair

and I don't remember what else. sad.gif

You need to go out of Umar Hills completely, set both the variables and the timer, and then come back and re-try.

When you are in the cabin, the master area's script (which is Umar Hills in your case) runs in the background and messes things up as you type them in. And do everything in the console, no weird editor stuff :-)

OMG, it worked. smile.gif At least at Lloyd...
Well not entirely... Lloyd talked with me, went to caves, killed orogs and orcs there. But no trace of Madulf in the cave, and when I go back to Lloyd, ha says:
"The Ogrons have been stopped! Blessed man! But... but what has become of Madulf anf ATta? Please Shadan... go to the cave and find out! Quickly!"
After this I went back to the cave, and it is empty, no trace of Madulf.

Weird stuff. How did you resolve the conflict between Madulf and the village? What does the variable C:GetGlobal("MadulfGroupLeaves","AR1100") contain when you arrive to Umar Hills after setting all those variables?

I solved things peacefully between Madulf and Lloyd.

C:GetGlobal("MadulfGroupLeaves","AR1100")Does not exist

Also I found a MADULFISPRESENT variable when I replayed from old save and did 1st ranger SH quest again.
So I tried to add this variable to the edited save (with other 2 variables) which didn't work either,

I am not expert in this kind of machinations, but after several tries I was able to spawn Madulf with C:CreateCreature("UHOGRE01") command. it seems quest is finished, I've got XP and Journal entry at Lloyd.
Thanks for help (especially thanks to Critto), but I am a bit worried atm.
Critto, do you think this won't cause any further problem in ranger SH quest line?
I will do 3rd quest now and there isn't any further quest in ranger SH, is it? New quests in Ch6. Right?

It's just the vanilla three, unless you're playing a ranger protagonist. All new ranger stuff (for ranger protagonists) is CH6, correct. Also, the Umar Witch fight is improved, might be a bit tough, but probably doable in the end of CH3.

So my progress report after a long agony with ranger SH:

Borinall: Easy on this level.
Pirates in the Dock
SPOILER!
(I used the hit and run here. Killed pirates within a moments. Then moved out of LOS of coordinator, except mages under SI: Abj. When he started to cast, ran in, landed some hit, moved out again. When he started to cast again, ran in and killed him. All scrolls were looted, because he casted only True Seeing and RRR)


Limited Wish: Was easy. I thought it is improved.
Trademeet Críyot: I didn't have Creeping Doom yet, so I just went in with max buffs, and hit as hard I could. smile.gif

Screaming Statue: I did all waves within Impr. haste duration. At first look Master Vampire was a bit scary, but he died quite fast. Used up 2 giant str. potions.
My party has an enormous melee power: 4 Improved Haste + RB inner IH.
Avanger 6 apr (gloves + stance), 24 Str with DUHM
Sibel 6 apr, 25 Str with DUHM and Right. Magic.
RB: 8 apr. 24 Str with Phosphorous
Kensai: 6 apr 19 Str, sometimes I drink giant str. potion.
Nalia: 6 apr, 20 Str with Gian Strentgh spell, or more with potion.

Whole Bodhi's lair: I thought it is much harder, but it was very easy, seems not improved at all. Next time I will do it much early since great chunk of XP is there.
Squirreled away: Was easy in Ch3 part. I suppose it will be much harder later.

Buried ambitions: Those werewolves cause a bit problem. Stun, fear when Resist Fear expired and the run away at low HP. So it took like 4 tries to beat them.

I hope I did all unmodded SH quests:
- Thief SH refused
- Bard SH finished and sold.
- Cleric SH finished.
- Ranger SH: vanilla content finished. Umar was a bit surprise and at 1st try without buffs I died. But went back and buffed up correctly, so no golems were summoned, because both Umar and Imp died before that.
- Wizard SH: Ring of Wizardry forged. Vanilla SH content finished.
- Druid: Vanilla content finished. Chaos is destroyed.
- Paladin: Haven't finished Firkraag's lair yet.

As far as I see only Shadow Dragon left, and I am ready to move to Spellhold. Maybe I kill dragon today, and will start Spellhold tomorrow. smile.gif

There are some improved fights, but probably not a big challenge at your level.

I've killed shaodw dragon. You were right, was not difficult. 2 RRR and several (5-6) Breach.
I've checked what I can forge and I was disappointed. Forged Shadow Dragon Scale, bot nothing else was available. I hoped to forge at least Treefolk's Arm +3, but it seems I am missing Blackblood club +2. I've checked Trademeet, but it seems it is randomized item also. So I forged a lot of ring+2 and few cloak+2. I think I will have money in Ch6 to forge items, because there is a lot of content and fight still on the road to there.

Chapter6 there are so much more available to craft that I always find not having enough money.
You could do fighter stronhold before spellhold if you havent done it yet.
