Dear @Critto , when Jan Jansen level up, his Spell position is reduced instead of increasing.

On the other hand, when Jan Jansen level up, his Saving Throws is increasing.

Please pay attention for that, and my environment is bg2ee+IA6.2,, and i only installed Multiple Strongholds(Ease-of-Use components) after the IA6.2.

Hi!

Does this happen only once or every level up? I suspect that the game adjusts his saving throws and amount of spells according to what he is supposed to have. This indicates a bit of problem with initial patching of Jan's creature file that is performed when the mod is installed. But I suspect that everything should proceed well during his future level ups.

I will test this later today to give you a more specific answer.

Meanwhile could you tell me please, when did you hire Jan and what was his initial level?

Yes, we've reproduced this in our tests. But subsequent level ups will proceed without problems. You can keep playing, there shouldn't be any more issues such as this. It happened once due to re-classing. I will investigate and if some adjustment is needed locally in your game, I will advise you on how to proceed.

PS: I saw your post at baidu, but the auto-censoring system blocks my posts sometimes and sends them to be applied for further approval. Then I have to ask chaser for assistance. It slows down my responses somewhat.

I did some testing and came to a conclusion that this is not a bug, but rather a limitation that the game imposes. I've tried to set Jan up in such a manner so that he benefits from bonuses of a specialist mage, but I think it's not possible because he is not a single-class wizard. Therefore, the game undoes the adjustments I've made to Jan's stats and spell slots.

There's no bug in there to be fixed. I can upload a patch, but it would be purely cosmetic: I'll simply undo some of my changes so that you and other players don't see strange stuff during the first level up. It wouldn't have any effect whatsoever on the game that's already in progress.

Part of the same issue. The game re-adjusting the character's stats according to his class and level. They will go down in the future, don't worry smile.gif

I understand now , just look Jan as an Illusionist without bonuses of a specialist mage, because under normal circumstances, you can‘t transfer to a Illusionist in the game. Thank you critto for your patiently answer! smile.gif

Yes, exactly. This can be worked around, of course, but I'd rather not do that. We'll find better ways to make Jan stronger in the upcoming versions smile.gif

This has always been an engine limitation. Edwin gets around thatwith an amulet giving him spell bonuses. The is no other way than that except casting an effect on the npc.
