I want to have a Dabus from Planescape: Torment as my .gif avatar on a forum right?

Well I have no idea how to do that.

I found the .bam file I was looking for (its a dabus doing his hammer animation hehe) and I went into editing mode on BAM workshop but beyond that I'm not sure, how do I change it into a .gif? Is it even possible?

I'm hoping that what is uncomprehendable to me (I'm not a modder, someone else just told me how to extract everything and what programs I should use and stuff) is understandable to you guys. ph34r.gif
