QUOTE(egm @ Nov 27 2004, 05:27 PM) Good evening everyone, My question is: is there a maximum size for a world map in BGII? Actually, there is. It's also realitive to the tools you're using. The game can handle enormous maps technically, however once you surpass the tools available you have to manually plot the locations of the map icons. The (easier) alternative is using a walkable world map, which allows for more freedom (animation on the map, and triggers).. The only way to generate the oversized MOS file for an enormous map is using MOSUTIL. For best results I reccomend using maps under 2000x2000, however the engine can handle larger than that. hope that's a good enough answer for you. I've gotten it working with a map of I think 3200x3200. |

Thanks!
My own map is 2357*3083 and I was fearing that IE can't handle it! |
