IWD-in-BG2 is a conversion of Icewind Dale to the Baldur's Gate II game engine, coded by CamDawg and myself. In the short term, this allows lots of BG2 goodies - spells, kits, dual-wielding, sorcerers, and the like - to be used in Icewind Dale. In the longer term, we hope it'll make modding IWD much easier - especially where joinable NPCs are concerned.

IWD-in-BG2 is now an open beta release, and if you would like to playtest it - or just see what it's about - then check out the forum.
