So I am doing the Mae'var quests and Edwin asked me to retrieve the documents from Marcus. Well, normally I would just snap his neck ( if I am playing evil, which I am) and be done with it. However, I do not have that dialogue option, so I attempted to buy them from him. He refused. So I threatened him. He didn't buy it. So I saved and killed him. Lost 4 rep points. So what do I do? I can't think of anything else to try, and I need those documents. Help anyone.

Well this quest is not modified by IA - I believe you need a character with a certain Cha score to buy them from him, and a certain Str and Cha score to intimidate him for them.

Or, alternatively, you could just pickpocket him.
