Hi everyone,
I wanted to use the BAM "IPOTN54.BAM" from BGII (inventory picture of an empty bottle) in BG1, saved it under a different name, put it into my mod-installation (.tp2 copying etc.) ... and the (BG1) game crashes when I try to open the inventory if the item (using the BAM) is there, giving me an error message of something in some .bam not readable. Before I start posting details: Is there anything general I have to consider while transferring BAMs? Anyone has an idea what went wrong? I can open the item in NI and DLTCEP all right. Thanks! |

Baldur's Gate 1 can not read the compressed animations of BGII.
Open the BAM in NI, click the Export button and choose Decompressed from the appearing popup menu. After your click, the Save dialog window opens and you can export the BAM. -------------------- Mental harmony dispels the darkness.
