Are you trying to install on a only SoA? ToB is required for IA, othervise wait for Sikret to emerge.

Have you put the "ImprovedAnvil" folder in your main BG2 folder? (= the same folder where you have the SETUP-IMPROVEDANVIL.TP2 and Setup-ImprovedAnvil.exe)

Are you trying to use some "unofficial" translation? Or is this the standard Improved Anvil package, and your language choice is English?

Unzipped to BGII - SoA folder and created "ImprovedAnvil" folder under same dir. Unless I'm completely off base...

And nope, just English.

From install doc..

"Unzip the new version of the mod in your BG2 folder. If asked whether you want to replace
anything, reply "yes". Now, you should have a new "ImprovedAnvil" folder in your BG2 folder."

But it didn't create folder so I did by hand.

This is the problem. You shouldn't need to create the folder yourself. I guess you have unzipped all files into the BG2 folder.

Do it this way:

1- Delete the folder you have created.
2- Put the zipped file into your BG2 folder
3- Right click on it and choose the option "Extract here". It will now create the folder.
4- Move the zipped file out of the main BG2 folder.
