Congratulations! It has to be mind-boggling how much work you've put into IA. But considering how long large in scope the mod as well as BG2 is, that's *a lot* of entertainment value added for the community biggrin.gif

Yes I also want's to congratulate Sikret with this enormous mod. I just started one of the new classes - a vagrant, so I'll get the most out of it smile.gif

Thanks, guys!

@Shaitan

Yes, in order to see the maximum possible number of new quests, I, too, recommend playing a vagrant protagonist for your first v5 run-through.

For your second round, you may consider playing what you previously had in mind (= a single-class necromancer) to play the expanded mage stronghold. Playing a pure single-class mage (specialist or not) stands as the second best choice after a vagrant ranger in respect to the number of new quests you can see during the game.

In general, IA adds a big replaying value to the game, because each time you play it with a new class, you will see new things. Not to mention that the item randomizer also adds a considerable re-playing value to the game.

Have fun!

Sikret, a minor point really, but on the install guide, there is a heading that says "Upgrading to version 4.3:"

I'm guessing this is a holdover from when the version number was intended to be 4.3, so it probably should read 5.0 instead. Just thought I'd bring it to your attention. This is at the end of the file.

Very cool! thumb.gif

I'm going to install it sometime next week or the week after. I started a vanilla game in October with an avenger as protagonist and I'm almost done with the druid stronghold. Now I'm thinking about stopping that game (after the stronghold) and starting IAv5 with a Vagrant where I will change Jaheira into an Avenger instead.
Hmmm... maybe the Vagrant kit allows some soloing. I think I'll investigate that option first. It ought to be doable with careful sneaking through the first bits and picking the fights you want (and having a lot of luck with the drops too I'm sure).

Thanks for making a good mod Sikret, I've been playing it for two days now and it's been fun. After a rather disappointing run with an Assassin in IA 4.2 I've decided to go with BG1 imported Ranger/Cleric here and things have worked out pretty well so far. So thanks once again thumb.gif
