Is it possible to travel to the dwarven stronghold after fixing the astrlab?

Or do I have to take the portal in Kuldahar back now?

The dialogue makes it seem as if I have a choice.

Well, if you ask Larrel about this he refuses to bring you to Dorn's Deep. Then you really have a choice: to use astrolab machine to travel in time, or to go back to Kuldahar, to finalise Orrick's quest and take a risk that the previous portal is still there. wink.gif smile.gif

Do we return to Kuldahar after visiting Dorn's Deep and Wyrm's Tooth? Or can we visit Kuldahar first, and THEN go to Dorn's Deep? if not there is no other way to finish Orrick's Quest sad.gif this naturally is with version 6.9
Additionally, can we return to the severed hand as well? if not, Larrel's daughter's journal won't be returned..

Yes, you'll come back to Kuldahar after DD and WT. Regarding coming back to SH, this is only in Part 3.
