I am working on BG2EE (latest update). For my Rjali mod, I wanted to be able to switch the destination of an area travel trigger. As far as I can see there is no way to do this with script/dialog actions. It then occurred to me that, if I added a travel trigger to the area with a new name and destination but otherwise identical to an existing travel trigger, I might just be able to use the ActivateTrigger action to determine the destination in a script or dialogue.
I am happy to report that I have tested this, and it bloody well works! I created two overlappin travel triggers in an area, and turned one on and the other off on command. A sort of toggle. A right click on the relevant region in the area map in NearInfinity dropped a description containing BOTH triggers. How do you like them apples? I used NearInfinity and WeiDu to accomplish this little slight of hand. To me, the possibilities seem practically infinite. -------------------- nullset
