I had bad luck with Vecna as well
 .But alright, I'll probably stumble into it in the near future! Thanks for the help, yet again! ps. updated the journal a little bit. Not sure If I'm completely overblowing this but Nicoper *did* instruct me to gain as much xp as possible. |

Well, the fight is hard, but you don't need to be THAT cautious. In my playthrough I had around 5,2M per character when starting the last fight of Burried Ambitions. I'm sure that with your prowess in the game, powerful party and very high levels you'll beat that encounter rather easily

Yu, I figured I might be overblowing this somewhat. Then again, it looked quite troiblesome on my first few tries.
Well, I'll go for it once Vagrant has decent chance of staying alive. So I guess a few items + one level more (for an extra hardiness). |

Updated Journal & updated the last section, tweaks / bugs etc. Found another quite big bug (with DUHM).
I didn't make it to the BA finale yet and I'm not sure when I can continue the run. Anyway, I've had a complete blast again. Thank you! |

Finished BA finale(?), or does this continue in ToB?
I think it's quite difficult on insane; this time Vagrant wasn't in that much trouble though. That permanent -25 / -27 ac helps! |

Finished SoA.
Now it's just ToB, which I'll play through once I have the time. But I'm much looking to whack demo the first chance I have + looking forward to the next Sibel encounter + new finale. IIRC there was a ring of regen with Ribald in vanilla? I guess that's not stealable anymore? Is there a 2nd ring of regeneration in the game somewhere? I used the one I got from spellhold at some point on some equipment but would really like to get theinproved gaxx as well, it would fit my crew really well. Oh, btw.
There's a really nice map with Neera's TOB quest both the arena + inside of the arena. The inside of the arena is a full map, of which the game uses only a fraction (the part with the merchants). I think it could be easily re-used for something easily. |

 The areas in EE are great indeed. Probably the only redeeming part of the new added content. |

It's going to be with maximum overpowerdness: Necro (PC) Minsc (though cheated to LG) F/M (elf, probably) Cernd Sibel Riskbreaker Would have wanted Mazzy instead of the Riskbreaker, but it would be overlapping equipment wise with the Barbarian (gloves), Sentinel we need for the staff (not Mazzy's shield) and paws we need for Cernd, instead of using them on the uber-plate. Riskbreaker isn't overlapping with anything equipment wise and brings it's own gear, so I think it makes the party much more powerful. And with this creq, we can even use the gauntlets of extraordinary specialization for the F/M. Plus buffed up Cernd should have 4 APR with constant 25 STR + Uber staff, so he should be able to make an impact in H2H as well. This post has been edited by pekkae: Oct 11 2024, 12:07 AM |
