Going solo is my latest in "spicing up" my games. I'm currently playing with a Gnome Ftr/Ill and a Human Berserker who will dual class to Mage at level 13. Any other good combos? LMK what you've had a good time with in the past!
I'm conisdering trying an Avenger out... I've never used one before! -------------------- Baruk Khazâd! Khazâd ai-mênu!
Your ass will be laminated -Dyslexia of Borg Haikus are easy But they don't always make sense Refrigerator |

Easiest and cool solo choices: (where i write SoA that works in the SoA but i not sure that works in the ToB too).
Single class: -Inquisitor(SoA): the most dangerous enemies in the SoA are the mages, this guy can dispel all of their protections with a single spell and see through the invisible too, and the Carsomyr is brute. -Blade: jack of all trades, master of everything (if you can remain alive in the first dungeon) -Shapeshifter: summon horde buff them and eat them as a warewolf -Sorcerer: arcane magic rulez, good flexibility -Wild mage: you have flexibility of the sorcerer, the repertoire of a specialist mage, and you can summon air elemental in the first dungeon. Multi class: -Fighter/Mage/Cleric: arcane + divine magic combos, arcane for defensive buffs and crowd kill, divine to offensive buffs, immunities and healing -Fighter/Mage/Thief: he get the most xp in the game (scrolls and locks), and he is very flexible too. -Fighter/Mage: the arcane magic with fighting capacity always good -Ranger/Cleric: all of the divine spell and good fighting capacity, and stealth too -Fighter/Cleric: just like the previous but it only bonus is the better race -Fighter/Thief: traps, shadows and a dagger in your back Dual class -Berserker->Cleric: a good fighter with lots of buffs -Berserker->Mage: a high level mage with fighting capacity -Kensai->Mage: the best offensive capacity in dual class, but you don't have bracers, armor, and the worst: helmet. -Kensai/Berserker->Druid: buff yourself with ironskin summon a horde and kill everyone -Kensai->Thief: the best backstabbing damage in the game -Swashbucker->Mage/Cleric: a caster with fighting and thieving capacity -------------------- My experiences in IA 5.0
