Hi.
Well, to make a long story short: why is it not recommended? I'm curious why this fixpack seems to be the reason for many bugs or other problems. Because it's poorly modded? Because of the methods used to actually "fix" things? Something else? |

Sikret:
As a slightly offtopicness, but does the alignment changing aspect of the fixpack and oversight, and a couple of other mods most likely affect spells that are targetted/affect certain alignments and not others? If the effect of alignments is significant enough to make a mod that changes as one of the components (possibly among others) them incompatible, then wouldn't it be better to manually set the alignments of the NPCs that you want to be set a certain way, and then you won't have to worry about the scripts not working correctly? As I understand it, IA is supposed to be installed last, so it should be fairly simple to make a list and patch them to your preference. Otherwise, you end up with a situation where Holy Smite doesn't work on Irenicus in the final battle, because he's still using the Elminster template and is a chaotic good human.
