I wanted to ask people which style of areas that you liked better since I have a few areas that I want to make in 3d and the textures are very different form one another.
in other words what type of area texturing would you like to see in wtp? Personaly I like to make the areas bg1 style because they are easier, but I think bg2 area texturing is much better to look at. you can however say that you like iwd or pst but the poll is between bg1 & 2 image is bg1 on the left more realistic the right is bg2 more intricate Notice the colors and patterns not the shapes per se This post has been edited by Sir-Kill: Dec 7 2005, 10:31 PM -------------------- |

For FU I would go with BG2, you want it to be more imposing for the part every player will have initial access to.
Of course you could always make hundreds of buildings etc using the BG1 style for any module makers that might want to create an area in that style! |
