This is the topic where the pictures and the associated questions will be posted each week.

Please don't post replies (and especially not the solutions) in the present topic! Only the drawing's creator can post new content here. The aforementioned thread can be used for discussion as well, please use that one instead.

We reserve the right to extend the deadline (but it will never be brought forward).

Current week: Ninth Week
Current judge: Sir Carnifex & Baronius
Status info: Week 9 ended. Final week (Week 10) sometime in the future (sorry, the contest is closed for undetermined time due to organization problems).

For the first week, there are four questions:

1. Where is it? Be specific. (2 pts)

2. Who is it? (1 pt)

3. At what point in the game does it take place? (1 pt)

4. There is something VERY wrong with the picture. What is it? (2 pts)

As per the rules, PM me and Baronius your answers.

The 2nd week's picture is in!

Here are the questions:

1. To whom does the building belong? (0.6 point)

2. Where is the viewer standing? (0.6 point)

3. What is found behind the building? (0.8 point)

4. The owner of the building provides a quest. Does the viewer (protagonist) intend to complete it? (3 points)

5. There is something VERY wrong with the picture. What is it? (1 point)

Excuse the funny point distribution, but since we are limited to six points, it's necessary to even them out, so to speak. And here's the picture for everyone to ponder:

Third week!

Sir Carnifex is on vacation, but he gave me the picture & questions before he departed.

The questions:

1. Where is it? (1 point)

2. When did the scene take place? (2 points)

3. What is wrong with the picture? (3 points)

Special hint by Baronius: "Forest of Tethyr" is a wrong answer to the first question.

The Fourth Week has arrived!

Our puzzling question for the week are:

1. Where is it? (3 points)

2. There are 3 things wrong here. What are they? (1 point each)

Note: Don't answer that the shadows are wrong. They are, but that's a mistake due to the coloring process and was entirely unintentional. Unfortunately, I can't erase colored pencil.

Good luck!

And now for week 5! Sorry for being a bit late posting it.

1. Where is it?

2. Who is it?

3. What is he? Be specific.

4. Who else is found in this area?

5. The scene takes place right before...?

6. The character believes somebody sent you. Who would that be?

All questions are worth one point apiece.

Here is week six. Apologies for the color (and in some places, lack of color). The scanner wasn't being friendly with me this time. tongue.gif

1. Who is he? (2 points)

2. The character gives TWO quests. What are they? (2 points)

3. You can get a good item from this character. What is it? (1 point)

4. Where is the area? (1 point)

And on to week 7!

Here are the questions. Have fun!

1. Name as many of the actual courses of action you can take with the chicken. (4 points)

2. Who is found way in the background of the picture? (1 point)

3. In what area is the scene taking place? (1 point)

We have here two versions of the picture, one large and one smaller. But both are considerably larger than the earlier ones so I'm posting them as links.

I know it's late, but the eighth week's drawing is finally here!!!

1. Who is it? If you don't know the name, a good description will be worth a fair score, too. (2 points)

2. Where is it? Being specific may (or may not!) help. (2 points)

3. What else in the way of creatures can be found in this area? (2 points)
