If you like Tactics or Improved Battles or any other similiar game enhancing mod, I would recommend installing Improved Anvil with NeJ2. It is most probably compatible with NeJ2, but it should be tested in practice for 100% certainty. The party after finishing BG1 + NeJ2 Part 1 is too powerful and it is a good idea to have IA's enhanced battles added to the game, specially because IA is so far the only tactical mod which is most likely compatible with NeJ2.

There is a one drawback though. IA should be installed prior to installation of NeJ2. However, please keep in mind that with installing IA you will lose the Protection from Undead scroll. But after finishing BGT, my 9-10th level party finished the Vale of Shadows without using this scroll. It was challenging but fun.

Finally, IA removes robes from kensais. So, if your PC (like mine) is a kensai/mage, he/she would not be able to wear BG2 robes. However, it's also not a problem because many good robes in the game are custom made and not modified by IA.
