Terms of Use

Please take a moment to review these rules detailed below. If you agree with them and wish to proceed with the registration, simply click the "Register" button below. To cancel this registration, simply hit the 'back' button on your browser.

Please remember that we are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any third-party message, and are not responsible for the contents of any third-party message.

The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this bulletin board. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this bulletin board to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law.

You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by this bulletin board.

The use of the forum to advertise anything of adult or indecent content is strictly prohibited. Any such posts will be immediately removed.

You can use no more than one registered account to post on these message boards. If you can't access your account for any reason (e.g. lost password) or would like a new account, please contact a Council Member.

Spamming is prohibited in every way, including but not limited to posts and private messages. Any post that is entirely off-topic, makes no sense in the topic's context or is an advertisement is considered as a spam and will be deleted immediately and without any warning. Any topic that contains an advertisement is considered as a spam and will be deleted immediately and without any warning. Infinity Engine Game Mod and Tool advertisements are allowed in Gathering Hall forum. Posts that contain links to sites/pages outside the Black Wyrm's Lair but are not irrelevant in the topic where they were posted, and were written to provide information for the readers of the topic are not considered as spams.

A local forum moderator can edit, move or delete any post or topic in the forum where he/she has moderator position if the post violates any of the local forum's rules or any of the BWL global forum rules. (S)he can also warn users in private messages who do not obey the rules of the mod forum where (s)he has moderator position. A local moderator can inform a Council Member if the user does not stop violating the forum's rules. A mod project forum's rules are determined by the mod project's leader or his/her representative (who can be the forum's moderator himself/herself).

Administrators of the Black Wyrm's Forum are the members of the Black Wyrm Council. (On the forums, they have five red stars.) They can edit, move or delete any post/topic anywhere on the forum if the post/topic violates any of the global forum rules or endangers the proper functioning of these boards. They can edit user signatures if the signature violates any of the global forum rules or endangers the proper functioning of the Black Wyrm Forums.

Posts of Council Members may not be edited, moved or deleted without permission from the individual.

Council Members can temporarily or permanently suspend the account, restrict the account or even delete the account of any user without warning if the user is constantly breaking any of the rules listed under the Terms of Use or endanger the proper functioning of the Black Wyrm Forums.

Administrator and moderator decisions may not be publicly questioned or attacked in any way. Users doing this will be temporarily banned. If the user isn't doing it for the first time, a permanent ban will be set.

The forums are constantly monitored by us, but if you believe that a moderator has acted unfairly and the issue was overlooked, you can send an email to us. (You can find the email address on this page.)

Administrator and moderator requests to stop a discussion in a topic must be completed. Users who act otherwise violate the Terms of Use, and the forum service can be restricted for them.
